Recently, we sent a representative to attend the “Deep Agile 2009: Agile for Embedded Systems” professional development seminar, which took place in April 25-26, at Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Among the presenters were Jack Ganssle, a renowned expert in the embedded world and James Greening, one of the original authors of the Agile Manifesto.
Topics were focused around applying agile practices in the challenging environment of embedded systems, and included test driven development (TDD), design by contract (DbC) and working with legacy code.
