AGC Instruments is a world leading manufacturer of Chromatography Detectors, for Gas Analysis and Gas Chromatography. AGC Instruments also provide precision Gas Chromatographs and Gas Analysers for Laboratories and Process Industry world wide.

Absolute Software is involved in the maintenance of the embedded software development for AGC's Gas Analysers. This includes standard process control interfaces such as 4-20mA, relay outputs, etc. As well as interfacing to AGC's own gas detectors.

Absolute Software not only helps with the embedded software, but we also developed highly sophisticated Windows Software for AGC. Trend Vision is AGC's premium Gas Chromatography software. The project brief was to modernise the existing software. This was achieved with a 'clean slate' approach. This approach enabled us to innovate as well as modernise.

Trend Vision requires advanced calibration algorithms, detailed logging facilities and complex analysis tools. But the biggest challenge was providing these features with a slick and intuitive user-interface. We achieved this by leveraging the full abilities of Microsoft's latest .Net Framework. The end result is a world class Windows application that AGC are proud to promote.
