Nordic Semiconductor specialise in microchip design. Specifically, in the design of short range RF silicon solutions and high-speed data converters.

At Absolute Software we have worked on a number of products based on Nordic silicon. Most recently, we helped a company modify an existing design using an nRF9E5 from 433MHz to 868MHz. The nRF9E5 is an RF transceiver with a built-in 8051 core.

We have also used the nRF24Z1 in a number of projects. The nRF24Z1 is a 2.4GHz audio streaming transceiver. We have designed this into a wireless consumer audio system, providing high quality multi-channel audio.
